Has anyone ever heard of ford fusion/ fiesta mk6 calipers fitting onto xr2 carriers?

Bought calipers I believed to be xr2 and carriers off a friend and just refurbished them. I got 3 calipers . One was a spare ?

The spare caliper is number 896. I now know 895 and 896 are correct xr2 calipers

The other 2 I have are 629 and 630 which I have googled and it comes up as ford fusion as stated.
Silly me didn't do any research before I bought as the car they came from was a mk2 fiesta do didn't even think to check part numbers at the time

The carriers seem to fit both caliper though. I'm wondering if anyone has ever had this or heard of this before ? Thanks in advance

One way to find out. Fit them and see if the pad sits in the right area. Wouldnt be hard to just dry fit them to try them out. Just hang the current calipers up in the bay somewhere.

Yep!

I'd do the exact same thing to be honest.
