Can't believe the front bumper is still on that car.
Looks ok in the picture.

There's a Blue mk2 1.3 Ghia in Browns Scrapyard in Hemel.
Been up there twice (was still there on wednesday), the interior is GONE but the rest is still there.

Only thing is it's a f*cking death trap, on the top of the stack and any added weight (eg. a human) makes it sway like hell.

Do you post at all and could you get pics up? Is it the kind of yard where you remove the bits or can we have a good root about? :D

we do postage on all parts, except for roof's or front and rear cuts...
were currently finishing an e-commerce website, so you can simply, enquire, or click buy, and await delivery.

we do remove parts were needed, but let people mooch around, and remove there own stuff.
our stock does chabge quickly, but like mentioned, we do try to stock a range of classic fords.
ill get some pics up in the for sale thread over the weekend

Rowley Regis breakers was ok. Hes got a mk1 with the chrome trim, skinny bumpers and blue tint screen. A mk2 which was a mint shell and an xr that was pretty much done for. He says he gets new stuff in all the time. I got a pair of weather strips virtually new condition. Him and his brother do up mk1s and were at the nec on show. Black one with thick red stripe and a white one with blue stripe with cross flows I think also has a nice white one in the garage he's doing up.

Not in a scrap yard but its in Eastbourne at a tyre place been sitting there for years, been in there myself to see if he wants to sell and he said £500 which I thought was pretty steep considering its been sitting there for so long and it's a base model, but would love to see it saved and a build thread of it instead of keep driving past it and thinking its just rotting away :-(

Does anyone know if the plates like those on the Mk1 are still available anywhere?
I'd love a set like that for the Cortina.
Failing that, it's classic B&W plates.. :?

There's a Mk1 1.1 A reg in a scrapyard in Bolton just opposite the Ford garage. It's pretty much untouched and has had hardly anything if anything removed off it.

Went to the scrappies last Summer and saw a MK2 at the top of the pile. I spoke to the guy on the crane and asked him about it, he said "that's not a MK2 Fiesta" and I said yes it is so he said "I'll show you". He picked it up and spun it round and it was TWO MK2 Fiesta front ends welded together... What would make somebody do that I don't know :(.
