Hello everyone,

some of you may already know me but for those of you who don't my name is Raj and I run Autoflock MotoRSport located in North Wales, the company specialises in:
•Electrostatic Flocking
•Blast Cleaning
•Powdercoating
•Carbon Fibre, GRP & Aramid Composites
•Official dealer for Polybushes

All the above services (except bushes) are completed in house and are not out sourced.

I shall be updating this thread as frequently as possible with pics and information regarding the current work/projects being undertaken, it will also be a good place to answer any questions you may have so please feel free to comment/subscribe.

Later today I shall upload a few bits and bobs regarding previous work and also some more up to date so that you are all aware of exactly what we do.

I look forward to speaking/meeting you all soon, thanks for reading.

If there are any specific mk1/mk2 bits you already do might be worth listing them :cool!:

Will do, like I say though this is more of an informative thread, if people want parts making then an fresh thread can be started in the parts for sale and we can take it from there.

Thanks for looking C

Well will hopefull have some more interesting stuff for you to see now. A good friend of mine is near the end of his JWRC 4x4 fiesta build and at the same time moving into his first house so it was a pleasure not only to help a mate out but to be able to work on such an epic car. Anyway on a visit to Essex to see a few friends and customers at brands for time attach I noticed he had this horrid ally plate on top of the tranny tunnel, I said let me take it back with me and see what I can do, it was my plane to have a flocked panel with a removable carbonfibre switch panel which was mounted from the rear, will let the pics do the talking.

Here is the metal plate with the area cut out where I wanted the carbon plate to go

And now I got to work

Do you not work on moulds as such? there is somebody here that does carbon and GRP but if you want anything done they want a minimum of 10 people to want that product before they are willing to do a mould. Do you not work on the same principle?

The majority of my clients are track based or restorers, the only reason I came onto this and a few others was simply because I purchased my mk1, but I am certainly going to start making parts for mine and anyone elses should they want anything. Depending on what the part is the work case I would say for a part is usually an order of 3 plus, but if its for the fiesta mk1 then there is no problem as I already have a mk1 I would probably make it anyway, just helps when some comes up with the idea of what they want laking etc. I have numerous panels for the mk1 and the mk2 which are getting made, bonnet is the next one for the mk1. Super light

Well for the same customer he wanted a few mods doing to the dash, the car runs manual air vents so the dash ones are redundant, only onted one vent left in the centre for a large boost guage, I had to cut and remove the existing 2 vents and mould a single vent in the centre. Here is how I got on.

An interesting project I worked on a few years back was a saxo hill climb car, it was a 1400 if memory serves me right and they had taken their engine as far as they could in terms of modification within the racing regs. They came to me asking what could be done, I said first port of call is the bonnet. They were using a steel bonnet which they had stripped the inner skin out of and didt think they could get a bonnet much lighter, bearing in mind their existing bonnet could not even support itself di to no integrity what so ever.
Infusing the custom stack

And finally fitted to the car to confirm shut lines

I assure you it wasnt dusty when it left the workshop lol but they were very happy with it, solid but lightweight bonnet fit for purpose and to their exact spec.

And here is what it weighed

Always working on moulds, but there are very few of these classic cars being tormented around track, if people are willing to bang a few suggestions up then I can start looking into expanding my databse on these classic little cars but we would all have to work together to get the best product made.
