Right,
Iv taken the head off the block and i just wanna no what iv gotta look for on the pinton rings and all that,
wear and tear stuff, how to tell the bores need attention,stuff like that. :D

wayne- simple, get the block striped, check all the tolerances, get the head pressure tested, and rebuild as per what you want :)
rings may as well be replaved for certain, go for low comp mahle oversize pistons, 0.25mm overbore or that to make sure its all tiptop :)

im getting quotes at like £1500 for rebuilds on a 1.6,,,lol
