And he let me borrow his fuel pressure tester which let me see what was wrong with mine in all of 5 seconds!

no offense but your a tw*t!!! (JK) i sugested a few months ago that you test the pressure and you said no it was fine!!

dont tell us thats what was wrong with it?!

Fuel pressure has always been on my mind but the only way of testing I had was to measure flow!

It has always flowed 3 litres in 60 secs and as a minimum its supposed to do 2.5 litres in 60 seconds! However as I always tell everyone flow and pressure are two seperate things!

MFI fuel pressure guages are very hard to come by! You can go pick up a EFI one for £20 in the local factors but you cant use these on MFI, they wont connect never mind read 6 bar!

So not a tw*t mate...

It seems to have been intermittant but was happening all the time when I got the guage was the car was priming and going up to 6 bar before coming straight back down to 2 bar! Then you'd start the car and it would go up to 6 bar before coming back down to 2 bar! The pump was priming again - not running constantly! So ive rewired it now and done away with both the pink and brown relays, more trouble than they are worth! Last thing I want is to be at a trackday and the relay goes, days over and push it back on the trailer!

just saying, i sugested it a while a go and you blew it off (to me anyway) and that its always the way.

ah well, at least its fixed eh

better get it to the strip and show us what its made of!
