Hi, iv been slowly building a zetec turbo build for my mk2 fiesta, unsure if ill ever fit it or not,
Spec so far;
2.0 blacktop lighted and balance, inc flywheel, with steel rods, wossner low comp pistons, billet oil pump gears
Modified to run silvertop water pump, Paddle clutch.
Blacktop head, Standard cams Ported & Polish, matched to a rover turbo inlet, cat cam pullys and uprated valves springs.
Tubular exhaust manifold.
Big Stage 2 fiesta rs turbo airtec intercooler

Question is, im only looking for 300 to 330 bhp as i cant be arsed to change my ib5 box atm

so what turbo and injectors & boost levels should i need.

I would like to run a small turbo so i have little lag and rev to 7000 rpm maybe more.
simular to how a vag 20v turbo feels if possable.

Thanks

Personally id go for a t34 but you might be best suited with a stage 3 t3 im too hot on the newer turbos though. Injectors id say vxr jobbies

Gt28 will be spot on try the gt2860rs possibly.
With what you've built I'd move that rev limit up, i had mine set to 7400rpm with standard oil pump.

You've built a 400bhp engine there easily! Bite the bullet and go MTX!

Injectors, depending on ECU, but go as big as possible to future proof it, modern ECUs have no problem controlling them and cost is virtually the same.

Turbo wise, GT28 or bigger, again, in the name of future proofing it as the engine spec certainly isn't holding it back.

Ahhh, was going to ask if you converted the water pump the same way I did!

Standard Black-Top head will do nigh-on 400bhp, cams and oil pump will do over that. Seems a shame to cap the power!

iv gone down the route of lighted and balanced and head work, to hopefully run less boost to take the strain off the box, as i cant be bothered with making shafts and mounts for mtx. plus not much room for a big inlet on a mk2.

Sorry to hijack, but how are you running a silvertop water pump on a blacktop?

Machine the block to open the hole for the larger silvertop impeller.
