right im building a mk1 fiesta..bought it of a mate as a bare shell hes still got all the bits to go back on but theres always some excuse why he cant...he also said he would help me build rebuild it but hes also told a few folk who i know that he regret selling it me so its one of them...

iv never done a engine conversion in my life lol can do the basics like suspension brakes so on...this is about my 6th mk1 now so iv a ruff idea with them...im clueless when it comes to wires etc....the car was running a 2.1zvh before i had it so its got the fuel lines & pump shafts cradle engine bay all sorted..

iv got a complete efi turbo engine and 2 ofab looms sat around along with a load of other parts iv collected just aint a clue where to start and also dont wana touch ote incase i f*ck it up lol

iv been given this gearbox but i aint sure if its lsd..if anyone can tell from these pics?

Just lever it out with the edge of a crow bar or similar. Has box been drained of oil? If not it'll start to piss out when you remove that!

Lever it out, but make sure you have drained the gearbox oil first! If you can see a 'bar' through the driveshaft holes - no LSD. If you can see through it via a small hole all the way through - it has an LSD.

Maybe someone on here who can 'do' the loom for you.
Making it a simple plug and play affair.

That was the joke ;) bestweed car crime university lol you round the back of the station? Sure it was on oxclose turning down Byron that I saw the grey one but it was ages back now. Other than a black Mk2 and the two tone I haven't seen any about for years!

Actually there was a blue one parked at Mr tyre on Carlton road but again that was a while ago
