 Post subject: Ofab ecu location?

Hello folks could i get some feed back to where you boys have put your ecu? I have a blacktop turbo fitted and did have mega squirt but have got rid and replaced it with fez turbo ofab management any help please.

I extended the loom and fitted the ecu in my glovebox using half of a fiesta rs turbo ecu holder to secure it.

I did think of that first,it seams to be the only way to do it really if i want to keep it dry cheers thanks grant.

No worries, if you look in my thread in the "my fiesta" section you'll see pics of what I did. I'm also selling fuel injectors for ofab in the for sale section along with a few other turbo parts if you need anything! :cool!:

stick it in the bin and go mfi with a 5th injector! you might melt a piston or two but its all about retro cool :lol:

I don't recall that the boards are rubber sprayed like the EDIS units are.
So as mentioned, best place for them is in the cabin area.
With a little work, you can mount it under the glovebox.
Meaning you still have your glovebox and the ECU is still accessable if you ever need to get to it.

Nice thread grant car is stunning,i have all the right parts i need just now ie 195 chip,701's,etc.

Yip i agree the lengthening is the best solution(2x60 connections haha) 120 heatsrink connectors fleebay £40+ ouch :shock:

What did you use to connect them grant did you solder them or use but connectors?
