 Post subject: ZT downpipe

From what I can see, the cvh sump is similar to the zetec 1.8 one.
I'm using an ERST ex manifold and t3 turbo.
Would the downpipe from an ERST fit with the zetec? Then mate it to an after market exhaust?

You will probably find the downpipe clears the sump but fouls the crossmember. You can either modify the downpipe or do a cutout in the crossmember. Both are fine if it's a tidy job.

as above, it will clear the sump, crossmember will be the problem.
cosworth t3 is better as you can route the downpipe round the crossmember and alternator easily enough.
