I have a turbo technics kit and I think I'm missing a connector some where, for the top hat to connect to the carb. Has anyone done one of these conversions or got a picture of the connector ?

no connector from top to carb. one to fuel reg and one is for overboost valve, which you shouldn't need any way.

You would think it's that easy but the top hat doesn't line up with any of the bolts for the carb

Have you got the correct top hat for the carb you are using?
There were two.
One for the DFT and one for the TLDM. Neither are interchangable.

Jason.

It looks correct, the carb is round, so is the top hat.... Both are round just nothing lines up.

there are tldm carbs with only two holes for connecting to the top, these IIRC are from escorts/orions and don't work with the xr2 top hat.
