Hello I have recently fitted an escort rs turbo engine (mfi) into my mk2 fiesta.. I had the car running for around 2 days but now it doesn't start? It tries to start but its asif its trying to run on fumes.. I have got fuel to the metering unit but I have nothing coming out to the injectors. I have checked the power the grey plug on the side of the metering unit and there is currently 7.4 volts on the black and yellow wire.. Is this normal? And would anyone know how much voltage should be at that plug?? I'm quite certain it isn't the metering unit that is broken as I have tried another metering unit of a running escort but that seems to be the same? :wall:  :(

What do you mean by 'tries to start'? Does it fire when cranking or only once you give up, it once you turn the key back?
