Got my zvh running.......... sort of but it missfires and wont idle. It has rover red band injectors on that are massiviel over fueling as it reaks under bonet and black smoke from exhaust would this be causing the problems? Theres a strong spark from each plug/lead so i know it shouldnt be that. Engines running ofab with 165 chip thats not maped to the engine or injectors so just wanted make sure its just the fueling and setting up thats needed cheers guys

Yeah mate you'll need it mapped to suit your spec, don't drive it on boost until you have this done.

Sounds like its drowning in petrol because if the injectors, your ECU still thinks it has blues.

Unplug your map sensor and see if it runs better, if it does then its just the map/fueling causing your problems. With it unplugged the ecu should find a base idle.

There is enough fuel coming out the back of my car to run another 1 with the map sensor plugged in due to the wrong map.

will be massively overfuelling, quick stop would be drop fuel pressure a little, but mapping is a must.
over fuelling will be fouling the plugs and causing it to run very poorly.
