After trying a few things im stuck , problem is the engine will turn over but i have no spark ! fuel to the rail at pressure but after removing the plugs they are not damp so the injectors are not opening :( .

How have you wired up the OFAC into the XR2? Are you using 2 relays - one for injector one for pump?

Have you definitely got all of the earths connected?

What setup of fuses do you have? ECU pin 1 should be 10 amp fused so check that. Also injectors should be 15 amp fused so verify that is ok too.

Have you messed with the OFAC loom or just plugged it straight in as it was?

Is the fuel pump priming on ignition?

As well as checking the CPS (depending on the plug you have it can also be plugged in backwards so check that) inspect the condition of the EDIS plug.

if you just fitted the loom make sure its lives are staying live while cranking,.
