 Post subject: 1.8 zvh head gasket

Which would be better standard ford or felpro? The felpro is thicker i think but the bore size is7mm overall bigger than my 1800 pistons. Cheers

If its a 1800 you can still use the 1600 cvh turbo head gasket or the Black top 1800 Zetec

Yeah just getting different opinions between the genuine ford rs turbo gasket and the felpro one m8. Nt sure which is yhe best and most reliable

I recommend a geniune erst gasket also. It has strong steel plate in the middle that support the flame rings, felpro doesn't have it.

Think ford might have to be the one then lads. Whats the thickness of the genuine ford gasket as i know the felpro is 1.83 mm thick. Does the thickness of the gaskets afect power at all?
