 Post subject: Rs turbo clutch

Took my fiesta out for a spin and the clutch is slipping at 10psi :( is mento be going 22psi

I have a stage 2 panther clutch in it right now it's what I was given with the car :(

So shall I go ap organic or 6 paddle?

Ap 4 paddle but do an escort clutch peddle mod aswel mate :)

Is there no way the organic one will cope? :/ don't really want a paddle for evry day :(

phoned the company today they said its normal for it to slip the first wee while due to the friction material needs to be heated and cooled a few times should be fine in 400 miles he said.....we shall see im still doughtfull

bullshit, slipping should not happen especially with a freshly skimmed flywheel.
there should be a break in period though, i agree with that.
i had a 500mile break in for my frs ap clutch, that hurt holding back for a bit.
not sure why you have put 22psi through the engine so soon though.
peg it back for a bit and get some town driving in, that will break it in sooner as there is more engaging happening where it meshes better.

It's not on 22 psi yet it was on 6psi and I thought the clutch was slipping so I upped it to 10psi to try it
And it started sliping it's back at 6 psi now and it's not gonna be getting driven hard anyway for a good few hundred miles
Well I need to do what he said after 300miles if it still slips he said ill get a full refund so worth a try
