Look for a CVH manifold that has a similar shape fitting to the R5GTT carb. It has a pretty common basic shape, one round hole and a bolt either side. Flange on XR2 manifold is totally the wrong shape.

Something like this would be a good place to start

this should be simple shane, use a standard xr2 inlet and cut the hole in the centre between the two holes already there, then just get a metal plate and bolt into place on the inlet manifold.
next cut a hole in the middle and two threaded holes for the carb to mount to, job done really.
you'll need some sealant that is petrol safe, or a good gasket cut down from the original xr2 manifold.

that's how i would tackle it.

You talking CVH XR2 inlet?
As there's no chance that will fit a 1.1.

As I recall the VV 1.1 manifold has a fair bit of meat around the inlet hole so there's a good chance that the manifold can be redrilled and opened up for the Renault carburettor.

Either that, or adaptor plate as Sean suggested.

Jason.

i'm not sure how well a 1.1 would flow with a r5gtt carb on it, the jetting could be an arse as it will need jets blocking and redrilling for the smaller capacity off boost.
same principle would apply for fitment for the 1.1 as the xr2 IMO.

If this is for the 1.1 why are you asking about an XR2 inlet?

Just redrill the 1.1 inlet to fit the R5 carb. Much easier than messing about with adapter plates. How well the manifold flows is gonna make almost no difference anyway.
