Hi there!

As always, when we get used to the new power level we want more & more so I've been thinking about a cheapo turbo set up just for a laugh!

This could be my RS1800 engine, with XJ650 turbo bike carbs, one off plenum,T25 form a frst to avoid any cutting and with a proper Megajolt map.......

I think a safe boost should be 0,5 bar and will make around 170-180 bhp mark.

Yay or nay?

thing is once you get used to it you'll want more  which will mean engine out and one off set ups need more tuning time to get perfect. surely for a cheapo turbo set up with scope for more later you would be better selling your current set up and buying a complete frst one? chip , better cooler and more boost then you've got about 200bhp with next to no tuning to pay for.

Lol,sure mate!

It's just to try another way, like the idea of bike carb'd turbo engine and got near all the parts yet. 0,5 bar should be safe in a RS1800 standard engine?
