You will need:

1) Escort Cosworth Front Calipers or Sierra Cosworth 4wd Front Calipers
2) Pads for the above Calipers
3) MkV Escort RS2000 Front discs

This combination will bolt straight on and the braided lines for the XR2 will fit straight into the cossie calipers. You will need at least 15" wheels for them to fit - and in some cases the caliper may need releiving of some metal on its extremeties.

Other setups

3i/rst discs are totally the wrong offset so won't fit no how.

RST calipers will bolt straight onto mk2 xr2 pad carriers which will simply mean you will have bigger pistons pushing the pads which may mean you might notice a difference in braking performance.

To fit bigger discs, mondeo ones are used iirc [with rst calipers] it involves modifying the hubs/carriers & the discs to get it all lined up right. try a search as it's been discussed before.

I did try this myself but it isn't straightforward without specialist tools/paying someone to do it and in my opinion is a bit dodgy as by the time you've modified the carrier to fit it really does leave much meat around the mounting holes to maintain it's strength inn my opinion. People have done it with no ill effects though.

Personally i have the escos/rs2000 setup as it's all simple bolt on stuff.

James.
