Is anyone running a 244 Rally cam in their Mk1 1600 engines? It has a gross lift of .309' and duration of 290 deg. The reason I'm asking is because in order to run this tall of a cam the pistons need to be machined for valve clearance. I can only imagine what the machine shop will want to perform this process.

This cam is a definite step up from the 1.5 grind which doesn't need the machining.

Cheers,
Craig
