 Post subject: Cvh starter

Having problems with my brother's cvh once hot it doesn't like starting.it's got a cvh efi in it with a magnex 4 branch stainless be told a transit Connect starter fits but unsure any recommendations would be grateful

Check the connections at the starter and at the earth point first before replacing anything.
I've found wires that have corroded from the inside out before now!

I can't comment about the Connect though.
I've hear people say Mk3 EFI and various other starters.
Some of which I've seen are LARGER than the CVH standard one.
Best to search around and see what is the smallest one you can find.

Might also be worth checking which battery is fitted. Mine used to be a bastard to hot start, so checked battery and found it was only 300 something Amps. Probably for an 1100. Stuck 500A battery on and problem solved.

Problem now is getting 500A 093 battery - nobody seems to do them anymore. 400A is best I've found.
