Hi,
I have two Spax adjustable shocks and one travels higher than the other,
i.e. is longer fully extended. I can't assemble a full strut with that shorter one as the top mount gets squeezed too much and doesn't rotate. Springs I have are also from Spax, lowering around 30mm.

Has any of You had this problem?

Location: County Durham.
They either sent a wrong one.
Or one is faulty inside.

Either way. Return them both for replacement.

Jason.

I bought them as used ones so no guarantee.
They have identical part numbers.

Has anyone heard about such issues with Spax shocks?

Mystery solved... someone sold me two different shocks (two different part numbers).

As I don't want to use two different shocks on my car... question is what to buy... gaz or Spax?
Any advice? My fiesta is a road car mostly.
