Hi
I have built my engine with a kent 22 cam with twin dcnf's and a vernier pulley
But do I need to get the advance curve altered in the Distributor to suit this set up?

If I do has anyone got one that's done?

Yes.. And no.
To get the absolute best out of the system the intention advance needs to be changed.
There are Four ways to do this.

1. You give the dizzy to someone who can change the advance.
- Old school motor sport tuners..

2. You buy the Vizard book on dizzy ignition tuning do it yourself.

3. Change to an electronic ignition system and do the advance that way. Megajolt etc..

4. Disconnect the vacuum advance from the dizzy and run static advance.
- This is what most did back in the day. That's how my Dellorto setup was run.

Hope that helps.

Jason.
