Does anyone have a wiring diagram for fitting a xr2 instrument cluster into my 1.1? I've got the two connections for the xr2 cluster being posted to me now, then I can finally finish off getting my hi spec dash in the car!!!!

Thanks in advanced

Rob

Cheers Jason, knew you would come to the rescue lol.
I'm guessing there's not too many changes to be made?

Erm.
The way I did it was to follow the traces on the plastic pcd to each connector point on the low and high spec clocks.
Then made a table showing what connected to what.

Extras are handbrake and rev counter.

Cheers Jason,
I'm doing a zetec conversion so know where to link up the rev counter with the esc wiring. Handbrake should be nice and easy too. So that's pretty much it then mate?

If you are using an edis,it connects to pin 11.
On the ecu i don't know. Look for "cto".. Clean Taco Out.

You'll need a switch for the handbrake.
Mk2 ghia, xr2 and some mk3,4,5 and maybe 6 escorts too. As well as some fiesta mk3,4 and 5 i think.

Sat down last night and worked my way round the wires, easier than I expected!
Just got to hunt down the handbrake switch now! I'm guessing not too much work in getting that working?
