I need a new exhaust for the missus ghia.
It's split in two at the box.

But I'm after an oem quality one that's going to last more than 12-18 months.
We've had the car 4 years now I think and this will be the 3rd exhaust it's had!

Any recommendations?
Or, does anyone have a good second hand one in Manchester?

Jason.

Do you know if these are any good?
Just sick of new exhausts not lasting any length of time.
They all seem to break at the welds.

For the moment, I'll pull the exhaust off of the festival and put it on the Ghia.
I have a 1.4 performance exhaust to modify for the festival anyway. So the 1.1 item on it is surplus.
It's a quick fix and free. Pretty sure it was fine when the car was stored.
Just have to hope it still is.

I am surprised that the replacement exhausts last only 18 months. On my MK1 Festival I have had a stainless steel exhaust that was fitted in 1985 and is still going strong. I do not know anyone making a stainless steel for 1.1 these days.

There is a guy making them on eBay.
But the listing doesn't fill me with confidence as it list the exhaust being for a 1.1 or an xr2.
