 Post subject: Electric fuel pump

Im doing a bike carb conversion on the xr2 lump ive got a solid state facet fuel pump were have people mounted them as easiest option is low down in engine bay but i know they dont like pulling fuel so could do with been nearer the tank anybody got any advice?

Depends on the pump.
Some are push, some are pull.

A push type needs to be near the tank.
A pull type can usually be at the top of the engine bay.

Check the numbers on yours to verify which type it is.

You can fit them in the wrong place and it will almost certainly work.

Mine mounted under the car just in front of the tank
