Hello
I am putting twin Dcnf carbs on my Cvh engine but the fuel pump has to be removed what do people use to replace the fuel pump ? Do they just block off the where the fuel pump went and install a facet pump and regulator or use something else

Exactly that.
Remove the pump and rod.
Fit a blanking plate.

Fit a pump.
When I had my dellorto 40's, I ran a facet pump and regulator.
It worked OK. But the facet is noisy.
I use a Huco pump on my zetec install now and weoulkd recommend the same for a twin carb setup too.

The Huco pump is almost silent and self regulates the pressure.
So no need for the regulator.
Making the install easier and cheaper in the long run.

Jason.
