Evening guys, spent alot of time getting my xr2 ready for the road.....

Now seems I have a massive problem, no brake servo on car. Cant find one on internet or anywhere. Even finding a mk 1 mondeo one is hard now. What other options do we have??

Most breakers MAY have a Mondeo servo setup.
But most will be the later one with only 2 ports.
The earlier 4 port ones are more difficult to get hold of.

Jason.

Lower spec Mk2 Mondeos commonly came without abs, I'm using a 4 port master cyclinder and servo from a 2000 (x-plate) Zetec model and blanked off the hydraulic clutch take off.

I have a brand new servo for later Mk 2 (short master cylinder) if that's of any interest.

If the OP isn't interested, I know someone who is, how much do you want for it?

Cost me £100 (wasn't aware when I bought it that there were two types of servo as well as master cylinder) so I'm looking for same. Would have to check postage, but about £8 I think.

Should point out that there's a tiny dent in the corner of the body about where it would sit next to suspension turret. Looks like it came from the factory like that. Won't affect function, so only a concern if you're building a concours job.

Gene,
Is this easy enough to do? Are there any mods required to fit?
Thanks Mark

Yeah angle and length needs to be altered

Mk3 fiesta unit bolts straight up to late type brackets without modifications just have to adjust vac pipe n brake pipes
