Hello.
Bought a 1.6 CVH lest week in order to swap it with my poor OHV.

In israel, there was no import of Mk2 XR2, so most of the parts will be donate from Escort, of course.
I got couple of questions, I'll appreciate if you will help me.

1. Engine mount - Can I use Escort Mk4 top mount?
2. accelerator cable - I saw the the tip of the cable (the carb side) is differnt from 1.1 OHV and the CVH. can I use the Escort cable on my Fiesta?
3. Can I get a link to online store selling carb part? my 28/32 tldm Choke housing is complitly wrecked due use of regular water :wall:

there will be more questions, but that's for now... :cool!:

Thanks!

1: Yes. I believe so.
You may need to weld a washer to the metal part of the rubber mount where it contacts the inner wing though.
I'm sure the escort one is slightly different.

2: I don't understand why you can't use the ohv cable. Unless someone has cut it or it's an Israel thing.
Ford vv and Weber carb throttle connections are the same here.

3: Probably cheaper and easier to get the parts from us than someone like eurocarb or fastroadcars.

You will need a cvh tiebar and bracket.
The side that sits under the alternator.
So your passenger side, our drivers side.
Difficult to get hold of here!!

Jason.
