Everyone who's got Gaz coilovers, how have you done the top mounts?

I assume it's...

Spring.
Gaz sprint top mount.
Gaz washer.
Ford bearing.
Ford fiesta top mount cup.
Nut.

Fit to car.
Then engine bay top cup. Final nut.
Is that right?

Only reason I ask is I've built one like that and there seems to be a lot of thread on the strut.
I've not put it on the car yet.

Jason.

spot on Jason. there will be quite a lot of thread as it has yet to pull through the bush in the strut and meet the strut top, there is a fair gap between where thread is exposed anyhow. all within strut top and bearing section.

Cool.
Well the one I've done is all finger tight.
So I'll tighten it up and make the second one the same.

Try and get them on the car once I've finished the welding.

:)
