you don't need r1 carbs , they cost a fortune and are too big for an xr motor anyway. 600 carbs (may be some 400's that would be fine) will be more than enough , cheap bike pump to suit and a manifold. then loads of f*cking about with set up :lol:

Have a look at the technical section on our website (link below) which should tell you a lot of what you need to know.

As droptop said no need for r1 Carbs. A nice set of 37mm zx6r/zzr600/yzf600/r6 Will do the job (to name a few).

They are a bit big and gutsy for a 1600, better suited to a 2.0. The chokes would be on the large side if it was not for the variable metering offsetting it. The other carbs mentioned will be cheaper to buy and run and be crisper on the acceleration once set up right.
