the picture is of my adjustable brake pedal pushrod, the servo end stays the same,
all i did was knock out the rivet at the engine bay side to remove it from the transfer bar, then it was just a case of fitting the new setup made from high tensile M10 studding and the clevis yokes and pins,
the transfer bar itself can then be adjusted to alighn the holes and set the pedal height,
after around 200 miles on the road now with this setup i really love to mondeo master cylinder, buch better brake effort

yesterday i bleed my brakes with my new mc and servo fitted i drained all the old fluid out first and bleed them back in but i still have no feel on the pedal should i just keep bleeding it till it comes right or is something wrong im doing it by pumping the pedal and its pushing the fluid out fine im thinking theres still air in there somewhere

when you say "feel" do you mean pressure?

you may still have air in it, i used an eazi bleed ans nearly 2 liters of fluid till i was satisfied

As mentioned before, this is my modified pedal push rod, the servo end stays the same, just remove the fiesta servo and connect the mondeo servo in its place
i made a new adjustable push rod (pictured) to connect the pedal to the transfer bar, that way - within reason any misalignment to the servo can be accommodated for by adjusting the pedal pushrod

another thing i did was brace the pedal box and servo itself since you could see both flexing while pressing the pedal to give a better feel

even without the push rod mod in place i should get something on the pedal im going to go to the car and check the pedel hardens up without the engine vaccum which i presume should tell me if the servo is ok? if it feels good ill split the mc from the servo and make sure the gap it right on the internal rod then all thats left is the mc itself but whats the chances of both cylinders going?

i pumped the pedal with no engine running the pedal stayed soft if i hit the pedal hard it feels like somethings there then goes down with a hiss so im guessing thats signs the servo's fubar'd?

just do what i did
make a new pushrod usind 10mm threaded stud and an M12 clevis on the one end and an M10 clevis at the other, i made it oversize and found i had to adjust it about 10mm more with the mondeo setup, but i have no dodgy extra nuts or washers and the pedal is not only spot on but infinatly adjustable

I know this was many years ago but thinking may help my problem...however im a little confused how you got a M12 Clevis pin onto a 10mm threaded stud

On mine I used all m10 and had to widen the pedal hole to use the ford standard pin.
