Looking for some advice for first start up. Car is turning over fine got spark got fuel and offering to start on the st170 map emerald supplied. I've spoke to emerald and they advised me to turn the fueling trim up to get it to start also turn the mspb up. Ive got the mspb as high as 80 its still offering to start but no joy, whats the highest I can go with the mspb? Engine is standard st170 with gsxr 750 itb's and 4 branch manifold any advice is greatly appreciated need car running and starting to go to paintshop before I get it mapped properly.

Check the condition of the spark plugs they may have been fouled and now not giving a very good spark.

Have you checked that the ign adv 0 on the ecu is actually giving o ign adv with a timing light?
Check that you have the correct fuel pressure if you can.
Are you using the std st170 injectors or different ones?

Brand new plugs, haven't checked the timing yet but that's next on the list. I've a feeling the pressure regulator might be faulty as doesn't seem to building pressure got another to try so hopefully it cures it and yes st170 injectors

THe plug may be new but if a lot of fuel has gone through without burning then they could have been wetted with fuel and now you ll get faff all spark.
