Hi guys!

I've had a look and can't quite seem to find the answers I'm looking for;

Doing a zetec swap and just wanted to check the wiring to use.

Fan switch: 35amp?
Gauge sends (water temp in dash and Tim tacho, water and oil pressure): 11amp?
Fuel Pump (Mitsubishi bike one): Through a relay- 35amp? is this for all wiring in and out of the relay?

Thanks

Fuel pump you can usually use much lower.
The megajolt looms I build are mostly 11amp and 16amp wiring.
Fuel pumps usually need around 5-8amp.
So protect with a 10amp fuse.
Depends on the pump.
Read the spec of the pump and go from there.

Jason.

Thanks Jas!

Ok so I've got 3 gauges to wire, nodiz and fuel pump. All requiring switched live.
Not wanting to splice them all off one wire.

Can I wire the gauges through Yellow on barrel (aux switched live?)
Fuel pump via black/blue on barrel?
Nodiz via old coil black/yellow?

Thanks

I don't use the barrel wiring at all.

The solenoid wire is relatively low amp but live when cranking.

I use a 40amp relay from the battery.
Switched by the solenoid wire to live to provide power to megajolt and the pump.

Fuse individually.
Dunno about Nodiz but megajolt is 10-15amp dependant on spec. So I'd guess Nodiz would be similar.

Jason.

Oh. For aux live.
I piggy back off of the radio wiring.
All reversible then.
Again.
If needed. Use a relay.

Jason.
