So, I need to do the timing on my silvertop, which is in my mk2. Does anyone have any tips for accessing the crankshaft pulley bolt to turn the engine by hand? There’s only about 10mm of space!
I thinking about drilling all the way though the inner wing at this rate. There is no way the engine is coming out again!
Thanks!

I've managed to get a spanner on the crank pulley bolt in my car and a friends car to turn the engine over by hand

It's tight, but you can just about manage it

Yep.
I've done it with a spanner too.
