hey, first of all, sorry for starting a new thread again for when the answers are clearly all over this side of the forum. but basically I want to run zetec efi on my mk2 ghia, (long term goal) basically I have a 2i engine & box, so I was wondering what I would take off the 2i engine and fit to the zetec, I've been reading up on this for a couple days but I'm still unsure what it would take todo this, I know I can fit the 2i box and the flywheel as its already lighter than the zetec one, also the alternator & starter, but apart from that I'm still not sure haha. I've already got the cvh mount and tie bar, as my mk2 is the 1.1. any info would be much appreciated, like what's the better engine, the silver top or black top. I'm a novice to engine building. and I don't really want to run bike carbs or tb's yet. I did have a set of 40's and I think they would run fine, but then again, will cost a bomb to run haha.

Basics.. As this has been answered a million times....

Get zetec efi stuff over cvh efi as it'll run better.
More advance, better ignition and fuel map.

Blacktop head is better designed than the silvertop, but silvertop engine is easier to fit.

Cvh efi flywheel can be used when you open the bolt holes up.
Any cvh box and starter can be used. But best are 2i, xr2 and gti boxes with the correct starter.

The rest can be found on here.

Jason.
