No, get rid of the lot and run something like megajolt if youre going down the bike carb route. :)

As above.
You can't use it. It won't drive a coil pack. Unless you're going to try and Frankenstein the sh!t out of it.
In all honesty, it's not worth the hastle.

If you want to keep the 'look' of the early engine bay..
Buy a Megajolt and put that and the EDIS inside the early ignition case.
I recon its do-able as I looked into doing it myself.

But yes. Megajolt, Nodiz, Omex etc..

Jason.

Yep.
Nodiz is a one box unit.
Megajolt needs an edis module.

My biast opinion is for megajolt.
Although I can see the advantage of nodiz.. No edis and a slightly less complicated loom.
I like the idea that should the megajolt unit fail, I can still get home on edis alone.
If nodiz fail . You are waiting for the AA man.
Having said that. If edis fails, you are stuck at the road side.

I also like that megajolt is a 'more' open system.
The schematic is available online as is the programming api. If Nodiz's api is available, I haven't been able to find it.
Not a problem for 99% of users. But I'd like accessbti it for my own reasons.

not heard of a nodiz failing yet- seems worth a go as you say, going to buy a bike carb manifold from danst as well just to save on me making a hash of it and I neither have the time anymore! costs are mounting up but that's all I would really need tuning wise I have cbr900 carbs already, the rest I can mod a st170 manifold, and do the mount myself, seems quite simple really hope it lives up to the ego these zetecs have when done this way :)

I understand there were issues with early versions but I don't know details so don't want to speculate. But I understand current versions are fine.

Not in 'build' as it were.
There's not much to see to be honest.

Picture was taken AGES ago.

Not much has changed really..

Lost the ESC unit for a Megajolt unit. Runs MUCH better now.
Changed the fueling from a redtop facet pump and regulator to a Huco 3psi pump.
Changed the air filter for a better fit and narrower item.
Chenged the breather system slightly.
