Just looking into fuel pumps etc for a zetec'd xr2 running gsxr600 bike bodies

(The Xr2 has its standard fuel tank still)

Will a red top facet pump , 1lt swirl pot and a standard S2 pump be up to the job?

Should be. I run just the red top facet pump with standard xr2 tank for twin 45s. Works fine

Only get the swirl pot if your taking it on a track and cornering super fast. I considered it but was told there was no real point as it probably wouldn't see the track much if at all

I've got a deisel tank in mine (was a deisel engine before). This has a swirl pot type thing in the middle of the tank, as the deisel engine is injection (of a sort). On the outside of the tank is a round bump (standard tanks have this), on the inside is a reverse bump with a hole in the middle which the fuel pick up is in. The pick-up exits the tank at the bottom generating a syponing effect. I'll try & get a pic later if required.
If you can get hold of a deisel tank your pretty much there.
