i havnt seen any mention of anybody installing a 136ps 2.0 silvertop from a 4x4 mondeo into a mk1 or mk2, but after searching the interweb it seems its a normal 2.0 silvertop with bigger cams?
however not seen a sump that looks like the sump on this though definitely not the one piece squarish alloy one found on escorts!

Just trying to find into on it before i sell i dont end up having somebody tell me that i didnt tell them this or that when i honestly didnt know

just realised it will be the "mondeo sump" everybody refers to. i have the square type alloy sump from a 1.6 silvertop escort spare, will i be able to swap the sump and then sell the engine on as suitable for a fiesta installation?

Also needs a Escort/Fiesta waterpump and inlet manifold.

... And smaller flywheel off of the 1.8 ( not 130ps version ), 1.6 or a cvh efi flywheel drilled out.

is it worth something, yes!
it can easily be installed, but inlet and flywheel/clutch needs to be changed.
it would be the engine of choice for a power upgrade.

with the right flywheel bolted up and the correct sump, baffle plate and oil pickup included, what would you say its worth?
66k miles with history to prove it and its still in the car so anybody can come and hear it purr, when the car is sat idling you can barely hear it running

With the Fiesta ready parts..
Sump, pickup, water pump, flywheel
£200.

With an Alloy inlet ( preferably a 'HO' ) with the throttle body, ECU loom etc..
£350-£400?
But then you limit your market as some will want to go bike carbs or other inlet.

Or.
Engine 'lump' as is. £100.
- To a Fiesta owner.
- Let them find their own sump, pickup, water pump, flywheel, engine mount etc..

Inlet, throttle body, ecu, loom etc...
£100+
- To a Mondeo or kit car owner.

The inlet isn't of use to a Fiesta owner as it doesn't fit in the bay. So pointless selling it to us.

Jason.
