 Post subject: Huco Fuel Pump

Has anyone thought about using one of these for their bike carb'd Zetec? It can sit in the engine bay and runs at the correct psi. Its got to be quieter than the facet!

I've just fitted one of these Huco pumps to my xr2.

It's very similar to an SU carb pump.
But it's almost silent.
Compared to the silver and Redtop's I've run before.
Mine is a 1.5psi pump.
Pumps. So peaks for a moment at about 4psi. Not a problem with something with a fuel bowl.
But that could possibly be due to the return I have on the feed.

Seems OK so far.
Obviously, doesn't need a fuel pressure regulator.
If it's not raining tomorrow, I'll get a photo for you.

Got mine from fast road cars via eBay.
