St170 stainless exhaust manifold modified for the fiesta.
Or peco sell an off the shelf manifold that mates their systems.

Xr2 exhaust system is sufficient.

Jason.

Hi there,

iv recently bought a mk2 with an rs1800 conversion also, it has an Ashley system that is blowing on the back box at the moment. The system is welded together right up to the manifold, im guessing this is just the standard rs1800 manifold? not really sure how to tell? Any way I want a ystem that will bolt to my existing manifold. Where and what should I be looking for?

thanks

Some pictures would help us identify what you already have.

Looks like a standard zetec manifold and down pipe to me. Not sure about the rest of it.

Ok cool, thanks.

Is there a system including downpipe I can buy off the shelf that will bolt onto that manifold? (My down pipe is welded to the old system)

I'm pretty sure both Peco and Ashley both sell Mk2 Fiesta 'Zetec' systems.
Best to contact them directly for prices.

Jason.

There is the other option of using a Fiesta item with an adaptor plate.
This is what I've done.
I'm using a Janspeed CVH manifold and a stainless unknown exhaust.
With the adaptor plate screwed between the CVH manifold and the Zetec head.

It's not ideal.
But it was cheaper at the time for me to get that than try to get the Zetec manifold.
It also means I can take it to a garage and they can order an off the shelf XR2 4 branch manifold or rear system for me. :)

nice one, How much are the adapter plates and where will I find one? When you say its not ideal are you referring to power loss or does it not seal very well or something?

I think fast Dan does them.
They aren't ideal as the ports are slightly smaller on the cvh than the zetec.

Mine works fine. Just not perfect for performance.

Buy an st170 manifold and mod it or get one already done(£30) Put an add in the wanted section. Then buy the magnex system in the for sale section(bargain@£145). Weld a small flexi (£15) on the end of the manifold and you will have an awesome system. Magnex is one of the best systems for the mk2. Stainless too.

i have a stainless zetec protec 421 manifold with flexi into an Ashley competion system on mine. Sounds evil.

Or you can buy an adaptor plate and use a normal cvh manifold, heard it restricts the airflow tho :eh:

I've seen the standard units for that price. But not ready to fit a fiesta.

Yup!
I would have happily paid £60 for it maybe more.
Condition dependant of course.
I don't remember seeing it for sale.

No matter...

Sorry. I wasn't clear. I'm doing away with the sandwich plate and trying to get an off the shelf manifold from Peco or Ashley. Or are you saying DanSt makes manifolds as well?
Cheers.
Nick.

Don't think he does. Just sandwich plate

Ashley should still do a manifold. Unsure about peco
