What car are you fitting it in?

If it's a mk2, then you can use the later cvh alternator bracket, adjuster and alternator.
Just change the pulley on the alternator for the 6 slot zetec one.
6pk915 or 6pk913 belt works fine.
That's exactly what I run on mine with no issues.

If it's a mk1.
I understand the "general accepted" option is to use the same mount, with the alternator rotated up.
The smaller Suzuki swift alternator making the water hose clearance easier.
But if you adapt the water pump with a 90 bend, you can use the fiesta alternator with a squeeze.

There are a few options, so best to look through the zetec and your fiesta build sections and see which one works best for you.

Jason.

Cheers Jason it is a mk2 I have just bought the later mount and it hangs down near the sump do you have to mod the adjuster for it to work I've had a little hunt threw the zetec. At the moment the current setup the adjuster bolt rubs the water pipe

I didn't have to modify anything on the CVH mount on mine.
Mine is a 1998 1.8 Escort GTI Silvertop Zetec engine.
The mount and alternator were from a 1989 (F) reg Mk2 XR2.

Best photo I have in my Photobucket account.

Hello Jason,

I was just catching up with some older posts and came across your pic. It's the silicone hose from the water pump to the temp sensor housing. It's seems to reduce in diameter which is what I'm looking for how you got a number or a link please ?

Cheers

Adder

As I recall.
45 mm to 32mm.
I bought it off of eBay. Made by ash. Auto sport hoses.

Edited..
