Evening guys a quick question I'm in the prosses of fitting a 1800 zetec in my mk1 with a five speed I'm not 100 percent sure witch way round the cradel goes I have left the bottom of the 1800 sump on and ground of the fins then fitted the cradel to this the engine fits fine but looking at a lot of photos witch have the fiesta center drivers side engine mount it's spaced of the wing around 15mm. With my engine in the cvh mount is almost tight to the wing I don't want to weld up the mount iv made and find something like this 15mm will effect the drive shafts ect thanks all ross :)

If its a xr2 cradle and bearer you will need to cut the sump and fit the bearer straight onto the gearbox.

get it mounted on the cradle then get the engine level with a jack and make a mount.

Although if you have mounted it to the sump that would pull the engine to the nearside when the cradle is bolted up so dont know why it would be tight on the engine mount.

get some pics up bud.
