Good to see you Roy!

How's things with you?

I'm not a user of the Facebook, but I've got Instragram/Threads if you're on any of them? Be good to keep in touch.

Chris! how the heck are you?

I'm the opposite - one of the old FB faithful and reject all this new fangled insta stuff! Took me long enough to get over Bebo...

All well but very busy here:

Three toy cars, all taken to bits at start of covid, none yet fully reassembled.
Two sprogs, both growing further beyond my control every day.
Coming to end of part-time masters degree.
On top of all the above I am still forced not only to have a job, but also do some freelance writing.

You up to much these days?

All go on your end!

Good luck with the masters, what are you studying?

My wee girl is coming up on 9 now and just as things are reasonably settled with her, we got a Golden Retriever puppy last week! Who needs sleep?

We moved house during covid and bought a place from 1938, needs a load of work but progressing through it slowly.

So kept going, but on easy street compared to you!

9... interesting age. I have one who is eight and is like a small version of me with long hair in a dress, and a 6 year old boy who likes his mum and doesn't really do more than reluctantly acknowledge my existence

MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering at Aberdeen. And yes, I am aware it's a bit weird to do an online degree in the place you also live!

Good luck on the house project. You'll be acquainted with all the different types of insulation and how itchy they all are, then?

Nah, makes sense to do it online, can work it when you have spare time with occasionally being tied to class times.

I was lucky enough to get a grant that insulated the house and replaced the combi boiler! Something to do with trying to make older houses more energy efficient, wasn't complaining, got a fair bit of work sorted out for me!
