Hope you all have a grand day Fiesta fans. I expect to be mainly building Lego sets with my 6 year old son.

Bit late.

But happy New year.

Christmas? Fiesta?

Well.
Linda got a "New" Mk5 Fiesta. The Facelift Mk4 if you will.
Drove it once. It goes well. 1.4 Zetec engine.
Not sure I like the seating position. But it's not my car.

I got a "New" car too.
The Missus MK2 Fiesta Ghia.
The blue Ghia she bought back in 2012.
So Now I've got 4 cars! LOL!

The Ghia, my Black XR2, the Festival and the Cortina.

Only the Ghia has an MOT.LOL!

But..
I'm moving out.
Getting a place of my own.
With a garage. So hopefully I'll have time to fix the XR2.
Rebuild the Festival and decide what to do with the Cortina.
I did try and sell it. But no one seems to want it.
SO maybe I'll get it running and flog it then.

Jason.

Not wanting to intrude into your private life but hope you're doing OK Jason. The Cortina might sell better when the weather picks up, I hear a lot of people grumbling about cars not selling as well at the moment.

Yeah. It's OK. It's been on the cards for a LONG time!

As for the Cortina.
Yeah. I had it for sale for AGES. Had loads of people tell me I had it for sale too cheap and it'll sell at that price.
A couple say they were interested, and when you say "Ok. Come and see it.. "...
They disappear.

I've had ONE guy look at it. Who half way through looking at it explained he had a rare MK2 already, the he couldn't weld and that mine looks good in all the right places and that I'd advertised it correctly. But that he couldn't weld so it was probably going to be too expensive for him to fix.

LOL!

So. I'm going to take it with me and decide from then.
Either sell it in the spring or keep it, throw the Zetec in it that I have and decide after that.

But I find myself with 3 MK2 Fiesta's now. so I'm a little bit in a car overload!

Jason.

My welding is "Ok".
I don't think I'll win any awards.
BUT.
With a garage now ( soon ) I can take my time. Don't have to rush to get stuff out of the street or alleyway before the neighbours get too annoyed / I have to go out / It gets too dark or late.

As for never enough? LOL!

Well.
I'll be honest.
I saw a MK1 on Facebook that...

IF... I was already in the house.
IF... I didn't still have the Cortina.

I'd have bought it already.

It's a mess of a car. But all the panels are there.
I've enough MK2 parts to make it work.

Jason.
